What is a "Benedict Mary"?
It's a term I use to describe gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender(LGBT) people that work against the LGBT equality.
Joe.My.God calls them "quislings" -- a term used to describe traitors and collaborators. The term was most commonly used for fascist political parties and military and paramilitary forces in occupied Allied countries which collaborated with Axis occupiers in World War II, as well as for their members and other collaborators.
I chose "Benedict Mary" as a more "Americanized" term -- it's part "Benedict Arnold", a famous traitor and part "Mary", a condescending slang term used in the gay community. (As in "Mary, puh-leaze.")
